A s he was talking, the king said to him, Have we made you the king’s counselor? Stop it! Why should you be put to death? The prophet stopped but said, I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have done this and ignored my counsel.

Pe cînd vorbea el, Amaţia i -a zis:,, Oare te-am făcut sfetnic al împăratului? Pleacă! Pentruce vrei să fii lovit?`` Proorocul a plecat, zicînd:,,Ştiu acum că Dumnezeu a hotărît să te nimicească, pentrucă ai făcut lucrul acesta şi n'ai ascultat sfatul meu.``
