A nd sought Ahaziah, who was hiding in Samaria; he was captured, brought to Jehu, and slain. They buried him, for they said, After all, he is the grandson of Jehoshaphat, who sought the Lord with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no one left able to rule the kingdom.

Fece pure ricercare Achaziah e lo catturarono (egli si era nascosto in Samaria); lo condussero quindi da Jehu che lo uccise. Poi lo seppellirono, perché dicevano: «E' figlio di Giosafat, che cercava l'Eterno con tutto il suo cuore». Cosí nella casa di Achaziah non rimase piú alcuno che fosse in grado di regnare.
