A nd now you think to withstand the kingdom of the Lord which is in the hands of the sons of David, because you are a great multitude and you have with you the golden calves which Jeroboam made for you for gods.

Voi credeţi că vă puteţi împotrivi regatului Domnului, care se află în mâna urmaşilor lui David, doar pentru că sunteţi o mare mulţime şi aveţi împreună cu voi viţelul de aur pe care Ieroboam vi l-a făcut ca dumnezeu?
