B ut the king forsook the counsel which the old men gave him and took counsel with the young men who were brought up with him and stood before him.

لَكِنَّ رَحُبْعامَ لَمْ يَستَمِعْ إلَى نَصيحَتِهِمْ. فَسَألَ شُبّاناً صِغاراً نَشَأُوا مَعَهُ وَجَعَلَهُمْ مُسْتَشارِيهِ.
