B ut these Levites, the four chief gatekeepers, were in charge of the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.

كانَ للبَوّابِينَ أربَعَةُ رُؤَساءَ لاويِّونَ أيضاً. وَكانَتْ مهمَّتُهُمُ الاهتمامَ بِالغُرَفِ الجانِبِيَّةِ حَولَ الهَيكَلِ وَبِكُنُوزِ بَيتِ اللهِ.
