E astward inhabited the land as far as the entrance into the desert this side of the river Euphrates, because their cattle had multiplied in the land of Gilead.

وَسَكَنُوا مَناطِقَ شَرقِيَّةً امْتَدَّتْ إلَى أوَّلِ البَرِّيَّةِ الَّتِي تَصِلُ إلَى نَهْرِ الفُراتِ، لِأنَّ مَواشِيَهُمْ تَزايَدَتْ فِي أرْضِ جِلْعادَ.
