O f the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his brethren, men of courage and ability, 1, 700 in all, were officers over Israel on the west side of the Jordan in all the Lord’s business and the king’s service.

As for the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his relatives, 1, 700 capable men, had charge of the affairs of Israel west of the Jordan, for all the work of the Lord and the service of the king.
