S ince there were more chief men found among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar, they were divided thus: sixteen heads of fathers’ houses of the sons of Eleazar and eight of the sons of Ithamar according to their fathers’ houses.

Und wurden der Kinder Eleasars mehr gefunden an Häuptern der Männer denn der Kinder Ithamars. Und er ordnete sie also: sechzehn aus den Kindern Eleasars zu Obersten ihrer Vaterhäuser und acht aus den Kindern Ithamars nach ihren Vaterhäusern.
