T hen Saul said to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse and make sport of me. But his armor-bearer would not, for he was terrified. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

Entonces Saúl dijo a su escudero: “Saca tu espada y traspásame con ella, no sea que vengan estos incircuncisos y hagan burla de mí.” Pero su escudero no quiso, porque tenía mucho miedo. Por lo cual Saúl tomó su espada y se echó sobre ella.
