T hen one went into the field to gather herbs and gathered from a wild vine his lap full of wild gourds, and returned and cut them up into the pot of pottage, for they were unknown to them.

Um deles foi ao campo apanhar legumes e encontrou uma trepadeira. Apanhou alguns de seus frutos e encheu deles o seu manto. Quando voltou, cortou-os em pedaços e colocou-os no caldeirão do ensopado, embora ninguém soubesse o que era.
