A nd when all the captains of the forces and their men heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, they came with their men to Gedaliah at Mizpah, namely, Ishmael son of Nethaniah, Johanan son of Kareah, Seraiah son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah son of the Maacathite.

Când toţi conducătorii oştirii şi oamenii lor au auzit că împăratul Babilonului l-a pus pe Ghedalia să conducă, au venit împreună cu oamenii lor la Ghedalia, în Miţpa. Aceştia erau: Ismael, fiul lui Netania, Iohanan, fiul lui Kareah, Seraia, fiul netofatitului Tanhumet şi Iaazania, fiul unui maacatit.
