J ehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began his three-month reign in Jerusalem. His mother was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

كانَ يَهُوياكِينُ فِي الثّامِنَةَ عَشْرَةَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ عِندَما تَوَلَّى الحُكْمَ. وَحَكَمَ ثَلاثَةَ أشْهُرٍ فِي القُدْسِ. وَكانَ اسْمُ أُمِّهِ نَحُوشْتا بِنْتَ ألِناثانَ مِنَ القُدْسِ.
