A nd the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second rank and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the hosts of the heavens; and he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.

Тогава царят заповяда на първосвещеника Хелкия, на свещениците от втория чин и на вратарите да извадят от Господния храм всички вещи, направени за Ваал, за ашерата и за цялото небесно множество; и ги изгори вън от Йерусалим, в полетата на Кедрон, и отнесе пепелта им във Ветил.
