وَهَدَمَ يُوشِيّا أيضاً المَذبَحَ وَالمُرتَفَعَةَ فِي بَيتِ إيلَ اللَّذَينِ بَناهُما يَرُبْعامُ بْنُ نَباطَ الَّذِي جَرَّ إسْرائِيلَ إلَى الخَطِيَّةِ. ثُمَّ دَقَّ المَذبَحَ إلَى غُبارٍ وَأحْرَقَ عَمُودَ عَشْتَرُوتَ.
