B ecause your heart was penitent and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I said against this place and against its inhabitants, that they should become a desolation, a curse, and you have rent your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you, says the Lord.

porque se enterneció tu corazón y te humillaste delante del Señor cuando oíste lo que hablé contra este lugar y contra sus habitantes, que vendrían a ser desolación y maldición, y has rasgado tus vestidos y has llorado delante de mí, ciertamente te he oído’ —declara el Señor.
