S o these nations feared the Lord and also served their graven images, as did their children and their children’s children. As their fathers did, so do they to this day.

وَهَكَذا بَدأتْ تِلْكَ الأُمَمُ تَعْبُدُ يهوه. غَيرَ أنَّها اسْتَمَرَّتْ فِي عِبادَةِ أوْثانِها. وَهَذا هُوَ حالُها وَحالُ أبْنائِها وَأحْفادِها حَتَّى هَذا اليَوْمِ.
