2 Kings 17:4 ~ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ 17:4

B ut the king of Assyria found treachery in Hoshea, for he had sent messengers to So king of Egypt and offered no tribute to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year; therefore the king of Assyria shut him up and bound him in prison.

لكِنْ في وَقْتٍ لاحِقٍ رَأى مَلِكُ أشُّورَ أنَّ هُوشَعَ قَدْ نَقَضَ عَهْدَهُ مَعَهُ. فَقَدْ أرْسَلَ رُسُلاً إلَى سَوا مَلِكِ مِصْرَ، لِيَعقِدَ مَعَهُ اتِّفاقاً مِنْ غَيْرِ مَعْرِفَةِ مَلِكِ أشُّورَ. وَامتَنَعَ عَنْ دَفعِ الجِزيَةِ السَّنَوِيَّةِ المُتَّفَقِ عَلَيها. فَقَبَضَ عَلَيهِ وَسَجَنَهُ.
