A nd they forsook all the commandments of the Lord their God and made for themselves molten images, even two calves, and made an Asherah and worshiped all the hosts of the heavens and served Baal.

Abandonaram todos os mandamentos do Senhor, o seu Deus, e fizeram para si dois ídolos de metal na forma de bezerros e um poste sagrado de Aserá. Inclinaram-se diante de todos os exércitos celestiais e prestaram culto a Baal.
