K ing Ahaz cut off the panels of the bases and removed the laver from each of them; and he took down the Sea from off the bronze oxen that were under it and put it upon stone supports.

ثُمَّ نَزَعَ المَلِكُ آحازُ عَوارِضَ القَواعِدِ، وَرَفَعَ عَنها أحْواضَ المِياهِ، وَنَزَعَ الخَزّانَ الكَبِيرَ عَنِ الثِّيرانِ البُرونْزِيَّةِ الَّتِي تَحتَهُ، وَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى رَصِيفٍ حَجَرِيٍّ.
