F or Menahem son of Gadi went up from Tirzah and came to Samaria, and smote and killed Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria and reigned in his stead.

وَصَعِدَ مَناحِيمُ بْنُ جادِي مِنْ تِرْصَةَ إلَى السّامِرَةِ. وَقَتَلَ شَلُومَ بْنَ يابِيشَ. وَتَوَلَّى الحُكْمَ بَعدَهُ.
