T he rest of the acts of Jeroboam, all that he did, his might, how he warred, and how he recovered for Israel Damascus and Hamath, which had belonged to Judah, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

أمّا بَقِيَّةُ أعْمالِ يَرُبْعامَ، جَبَرُوتِهِ وَحُرُوبِهِ، وَكَيفَ اسْتَرَدَّ دِمَشْقَ وَحَماةَ وَضَمِّهُما إلَى إسْرائِيلَ – وَكانتا قَبلاً لِيهُوذا – فَهِيَ مُدَوَّنَةٌ فِي كِتابِ تارِيخِ مُلُوكِ إسْرائِيلَ.
