J ehoash son of Jehoahaz recovered from Ben-hadad son of Hazael the cities which he had taken from Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times Jehoash defeated him, and recovered the cities of Israel.

Allora Joas, figlio di Jehoahaz, riprese dalle mani di Ben-Hadad, figlio di Hazael, le città che egli aveva preso in guerra a Jehoahaz suo padre. Per ben tre volte Joas lo sconfisse e riprese cosí le città d'Israele.
