A nd he who was over the household, he who was over the city, the elders also, and the guardians and tutors sent to Jehu, saying, We are your servants and will do all that you bid us; we will not make any man king; do what is good in your eyes.

Entonces el mayordomo, el gobernador de la ciudad, los ancianos y los tutores enviaron a decir a Jehú: «Siervos tuyos somos y haremos todo lo que nos mandes. No elegiremos como rey a ninguno, haz lo que bien te parezca.»
