1 Kings 3:26 ~ 1 Re 3:26

T hen the mother of the living child said to the king, for she yearned over her son, O my lord, give her the living baby, and by no means slay him. But the other said, Let him not be mine or yours, but divide him.

Allora la donna del bambino vivo che amava teneramente suo figlio, disse al re: «Deh! Signor mio, date a lei il bambino vivo, ma non uccidetelo!» L'altra invece diceva: «Non sia né mio né tuo ma dividetelo!».
