J ehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother was Azubah daughter of Shilhi.

وَكانَ يَهُوشافاطُ فِي الخامِسَةِ وَالثَّلاثِينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ عِندَما استَلَمَ مَقالِيدَ الحُكمِ. وَحَكَمَ فِي القُدسِ خَمساً وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً. وَكانَ اسْمُ أُمِّهِ عَزُوبَةَ، وَهِيَ بِنْتُ شِلْحِي.
