فَهَرَبَ النّاجُونَ إلَى مَدِينَةِ أفِيقَ. فَسَقَطَ سُورُ المَدِينَةِ عَلَى سَبْعَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ألفاً مِنْهُمْ. وَهَرَبَ بِنْهَدَدُ أيضاً إلَى المَدِينَةِ وَاختَبَأ فِي غُرْفَةٍ.
