T hey encamped opposite each other seven days. Then the battle was joined; and the Israelites slew of the Syrians 100, 000 foot soldiers in one day.

And they pitched one over against the other seven days. And so it was that in the seventh day the battle was joined; and the sons of Israel slew of the Syrians one hundred thousand footmen in one day.
