A nd the servants of the king of Syria said to him, Israel’s gods are gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we. But let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.

Denn die Knechte des Königs von Syrien sprachen zu ihm: Ihre Götter sind Berggötter; darum haben sie uns überwunden. O daß wir mit ihnen auf der Ebene streiten müßten! Was gilt's, wir wollten sie überwinden!
