T hat the Lord may fulfill His promise to me, saying, If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and mind and with all their soul, there shall not fail you a man on the throne of Israel.

e o Senhor manterá a promessa que me fez: ‘Se os seus descendentes cuidarem de sua conduta, e se me seguirem fielmente de todo o coração e de toda a alma, você jamais ficará sem descendente no trono de Israel’.
