S o he did according to the word of the Lord; he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan.

فانصَرَفَ إيلِيّا وَفَعَلَ كَما أمَرَهُ اللهُ. فَذَهَبَ لِيُقِيمَ قُرْبَ جَدوَلِ كَرِيتَ، شرقَ نَهرِ الأُردُنِّ.
