T hus Zimri destroyed all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke against Baasha through Jehu the prophet,

فَجاءَ قَضاءُ زِمْرِي عَلَى بَيتِ بَعْشا تَحقِيقاً لِكَلامِ اللهِ الذي تَكَلَّمَ به عَلَى لِسانِ النَّبِيِّ ياهُو ضِدَّ بَعْشا.
