S o Ben-hadad hearkened to king Asa and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel, and smote Ijon, Dan, Abel-beth-maacah, and all Chinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

فَاسْتَجابَ المَلِكُ بِنْهَدَدُ لِطَلَبِ آسا. فَأرسَلَ جَيشَهُ لِمُهاجَمَةِ مُدُنِ إسْرائِيلَ، فَهاجَمَ عُيُونَ وَدانَ وَآبَلَ بَيتِ مَعْكَةَ وَالمُدُنَ القَرِيبَةِ مِنْ بُحَيرَةِ الجَلِيلِ وَمِنطَقَةِ نَفتالِي.
