A nd Jeroboam appointed a feast on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, like the feast kept in Judah, and he offered sacrifices upon the altar. So he did in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves he had made. And he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places he had made.

Geroboamo istituí una festa nell'ottavo mese, il quindicesimo giorno del mese, simile alla festa che si celebrava in Giuda e offrí sacrifici sull'altare. Cosí fece a Bethel per sacrificare ai vitelli da lui fatti; e a Bethel stabilí i sacerdoti degli alti luoghi che aveva eretti.
