S o when all Israel saw that the king did not heed them, they answered the king, What portion have we in David? We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, O Israel! Look now to your own house, David! So Israel went to their tents.

Vendo, pois, todo o Israel que o rei não lhe dava ouvidos, respondeu-lhe, dizendo: Que parte temos nós em Davi? Não temos herança no filho de Jessé. Âs tuas tendas, ó Israel! Agora olha por tua casa, ó Davi! Então Israel se foi para as suas tendas.
