A ll King Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were of pure gold. None were of silver; it was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon.

Tutte le coppe del re Salomone erano d’oro, e tutto il vasellame della casa, detta «Foresta del Libano», era d’oro puro. Nulla era d’argento; dell’argento non si faceva alcun conto al tempo di Salomone.
