B ut the king’s word prevailed against Joab and the commanders of the army. So they went from the king’s presence to number the Israelites.

لَكِنَّ الملِكَ داوُدَ فَرَضَ أوامِرَهُ عَلَى يوآبَ وقادةِ الجيشِ. فَخرجوا مِنْ حَضْرةِ المَلِكِ ليُحْصُوا بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ.
