B ut Abishai son of Zeruiah came to David’s aid, and smote and killed the Philistine. Then David’s men charged him, You shall no more go out with us to battle, lest you quench the lamp of Israel.

Та поміг йому Авішай, син Церуїн, і він ударив филистимлянина, та й забив його. Тоді Давидові люди присягли йому, говорячи: Ти не вийдеш уже з нами на війну, і не погасиш Ізраїлевого світильника!
