B ut all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to us. Why then be angry about it? Have we eaten at all at the king’s expense? Or has he given us any gift?

Bărbaţii lui Iuda le-au dat bărbaţilor lui Israel următorul răspuns: – Pentru că regele este rudă cu noi. Deci de ce vă mâniaţi pentru acest lucru? Am mâncat noi pe cheltuiala regelui? Am primit noi vreun dar din partea lui?
