J oab said to the man, You saw him! Why did you not strike him down to the ground? I would have given you ten shekels of silver and a girdle.

فقالَ يوآب للرَّجُلِ: «لِمَ لَمْ تَقْتُلْهُ وتدَعْهُ يَسْقُطُ عَلَى الأرْضِ؟ لَوْ فَعَلْتَ، لَكُنْتُ أعْطيتُكَ حِزاماً وَعَشْرَ قِطَعٍ مِنَ الفضَّةِ!»
