F or when Absalom’s servants came to the woman at the house, they said, Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said to them, They went over the brook of water. When they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.

Da nun die Knechte Absaloms zum Weibe ins Haus kamen, sprachen sie: Wo ist Ahimaaz und Jonathan? Das Weib sprach zu ihnen: Sie gingen über das Wässerlein. Und da sie suchten, und nicht fanden, gingen sie wieder gen Jerusalem.
