A nd their father Israel said to them, If it must be so, now do this; take of the choicest products in the land in your sacks and carry down a present to the man, a little balm (balsam) and a little honey, aromatic spices and gum (of rock rose) or ladanum, pistachio nuts, and almonds.

Allora Israele, loro padre, disse loro: «Se è così, fate questo: prendete nei vostri sacchi alcuni dei prodotti migliori del paese, e portate a quell'uomo un dono: un po' di balsamo, un po' di miele degli aromi e della mirra, dei pistacchi e delle mandorle.
