S o the sons of Israel came to buy grain among those who came, for there was hunger and general lack of food in the land of Canaan.

فَذَهَبَ أولادُ إسْرائِيلَ مَعَ كَثِيرِينَ إلَى مِصْرَ لِشِراءِ القَمحِ، لِأنَّ المَجاعَةَ وَصَلَتْ إلَى أرْضِ كَنْعانَ.
