B ut said, My son shall not go down with you, for his brother is dead and he alone is left; if harm or accident should befall him on the journey you are to take, you would bring my hoary head down to Sheol (the place of the dead) with grief.

Pero Jacob dijo: “Mi hijo no descenderá con ustedes. Pues su hermano ha muerto, y sólo él me queda. Si algo malo le acontece en el viaje en que van, harán descender mis canas con dolor al Seol (región de los muertos).”
