A nd Husham died, and Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, reigned in his stead. The name of his city was Avith.

وَماتَ حُوشامُ، فَخَلَفَهُ هَدادُ بْنُ بَدادَ مَلِكاً. وَهَدادَ هُوَ الَّذِي هَزَمَ مِدْيانَ فِي بِلادِ مُوآبَ. وَكانَ اسْمُ مَدِينَتِهِ عَوِيتَ.
