J acob was boiling pottage (lentil stew) one day, when Esau came from the field and was faint.

وَذاتَ يَوْمٍ، كانَ يَعقُوبُ يَطبُخُ حَساءً. فَجاءَ عِيسُو مِنَ الحَقلِ، وَكانَ قَدْ أعْياهُ الجُوعُ.
