S o Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and his son Isaac; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and then began the trip to the place of which God had told him.

Avraam s-a sculat dis-de-dimineaţă, a înşeuat măgarul, i-a luat pe doi dintre slujitorii săi şi pe fiul său Isaac, a tăiat lemne pentru arderea de tot şi a plecat spre locul despre care i-a spus Dumnezeu.
