A nd he believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God).

فَآمَنَ بِاللهِ ، فاعْتَبَرَ اللهُ إيمانَهُ بِرّاً لَهُ.
