Z oti e thirri përsëri Samuelin. Dhe Samueli u ngrit, shkoi tek Eli dhe i tha: "Ja ku jam, se ti më thirre". Por ai u përgjegj: "Biri im, unë nuk të kam thirrur; shko të flesh".

The Lord called again, “Samuel!” So Samuel got up and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” But Eli answered, “I did not call you, my son. Lie down again.”
