P randaj kështu thotë Zoti, Perëndia i Izraelit: Unë kisha shpallur që shtëpia jote dhe shtëpia e atit tënd do të kishin ecur gjithnjë para meje, por tani Zoti thotë: Qoftë larg meje kjo gjë; sepse unë nderoj ata që më nderojnë, por ata që më përçmojnë do të përçmohen gjithashtu nga ana ime.

Therefore Jehovah, the God of Israel, saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now Jehovah saith, Be it far from me; for them that honor me I will honor, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
