A tëherë Davidi, duke iu drejtuar njerëzve që ishin pranë tij, tha: Çfarë do t’i bëjnë atij burri që do të vrasë këtë Filiste dhe do ta largojëë turpin nga Izraeli? Po kush është ky Filiste, i parrethprerë, që guxon të poshtërojë ushtrinë e Perëndisë të gjallë?".

And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?
